Sign With Me provides professional British Sign Language (BSL) classes to children in Cheshire and Staffordshire
Sign With Me uses BSL to develop and support communication through single signs or sign phrases. BSL is the recognised language of the British d/Deaf community. BSL is regional, like accents and is constantly evolving in the same way as the English language.
Sign language
In an Early Years setting sign language can help in reducing noise levels through shared understanding of instructional signs such as 'stop', 'quiet time' etc. It is a common language for children of differing ages and abilities encouraging positive interaction, co-operation, interest in stories, books and songs.
Learning to sign is fun for children of all ages and abilities. Sign With Me can provide on-site workshops with children in pre-school settings, schools and after school clubs. Please contact me for more details of what we can do for you.
